US aircraft lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has placed a firm order for 75 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, its largest aircraft purchase to date.
Announced on October 16, the agreement will see deliveries take place between 2032 and 2035. The deal also includes conversion rights between A320neo Family variants, allowing ACG to adjust its future fleet mix based on customer demand.
The latest commitment brings the California-based lessor’s cumulative A320neo Family orders to 190 aircraft, with 115 still awaiting delivery. As of June 30, 2026, ACG had 118 examples in its fleet.
Thomas Baker, ACG’s president and CEO, said: “Placing the largest order in our nearly 40-year history is a statement of confidence in the long-term future of air travel and in ACG’s important role as a conduit between airlines, aircraft and capital.”
The agreement builds on a relationship with Airbus dating back to 2007, when ACG placed its first order with the European manufacturer.
Rob Downes, ACG’s chief OEM officer, said demand for the A320neo Family remained strong among airline customers seeking aircraft for fleet replacement and expansion.
He added: “This order gives ACG additional capacity to meet that demand, extends our orderbook pipeline into the mid-2030s and positions us for further growth.”
Founded in 1989 and wholly owned by Japan’s Tokyo Century Corporation, ACG had approximately 500 owned, managed and committed aircraft at the end of June, serving around 85 airlines across 50 countries.
